Leadership and Highest Awards
At the September Volunteers Meeting hosted by the Blue Bonnet Circle Service Unit, we learned about the New GSUSA Leadership Awards, as well as the Highest Awards offered for Girl Scouts, the Silver and Gold Awards. For more information about these new awards, make sure to look at the resources offered by GSUSA. If you have additional questions, please contact the BBCSU leadership team at bluebonnetcirclegs@gmail.com.
Additionally, if you have a Girl Scout who is working on Leadership or Higher Awards, please send pictures to that same email address so that we can highlight them in this newsletter!

Upcoming Activities
While skating got the Bluebonnet Circle Service Unit rolling this fall, we have a lot of other events planned for our Girl Scouts. Several of these events are provided below:
***This meeting will include up-to-date information for our Service Unit, an investiture ceremony for troop leaders followed by CPR and First Aid Training (Register Below) for leaders and girls.***
***Registration Deadline October 15, 2025***
Campouts for 2025-2026
***Registration Deadline October 15, 2025***
More information will be provided about the following campouts soon!
March 6-8, 2026: Roxy & Me (Volunteer & Daughter) This is an opportunity for troop volunteers to spend one-on-one time with their Girl Scout, minus their troop. Cabin, hut, platform tent or bring your own tent to Bluebonnet Shores. There will be minimal scheduled activities so you can maximize relaxing and bonding.
Spring 2026: Tent Campout, Juniors and above, camp at the group site or your own site nearby, everyone will pitch in on meals and mingle through activities.
May 2-3, 2026: First-timers Campout, stop by for the day or spend one night, this is a great introduction to camping for Daisies.
Important Info: As dates are finalized, we'll update the BAND calendar, post details in the BAND feed and host registration on our website. Sign up and stay tuned! Is your troop planning an event? Email bluebonnetcirclegs@gmail.com with the details and we'll include them in the next newsletter.
