We're so excited to kick off a new year of scouting and have a ton of new events coming up this fall. Be sure to check out the events listed below and register your troops early!
Rally Recap
To start off another year of scouting, the Bluebonnet Circle Service Unit troops have been hosting Rallies to welcome Girl Scouts back to a new year of fun and to encourage new members to join.
We also held our annual Back to Girl Scouts Skate Night! Over 100 Girl Scouts attended and had so much fun rolling into the new year of Scouting.
Fun Fall Events
As we get back into the swing of things with a new year of Girl Scouts, we have a lot of activities coming up quickly! Please make sure to read below for reminders and information!
Deadline for
Camp Champions Registration!
The deadline for registering for Camp Champions is September 30. This is a fun event that you don't want to miss!
Additional adults (beyond those required for Safey-Wise numbers) in your troop may attend, but if the additional adults require a larger or additional cabin, they will be responsible for the additional cost. The details are included in the registration form you can access in the link below!

******Campout Committee******
If you're interested in helping provide input about our spring campout plans, please join our Campout Committee! Also, a lead is needed for the spring volunteer-daughter campout this spring! For more information, contact the SU Directors at bluebonnetcirclegs@gmail.com.
Fall Product Sales
The Fall Product Sales will be running from October 1 through November 2 this year, and allows troops to earn money at a higher rate than the cookie program. Also, if troops or girls working together on higher awards want to do other fundraising, they must participate in both Fall Product and Cookie sales.

CPR
Each troop is required to have a CPR/First Aid trained adult. BBCSU is offering a CPR and First Aid Training class on October 22, and is offering this training for two adults per troop every two years. This is the last class that BBCSU will cover this year.
More Upcoming Events in Fall 2026!
Trefoil Derby. If you've not participated in this fun event yet, this is the year to do it! The Lady Cans Robotics Troop will be available on Build Day to use band saws at the Kodosky Service Center to help cut your car from the pinewood block included in your kit, as well as provide design advice and guidance. If you're not familiar with them, the Lady Cans (Troop 2881) are members of a special interest robotics troop in the Girl Scouts of Central Texas Council, and they have participated in robotics competitions worldwide! New BBCSU T-Shirts
Congratulations to Avani Bedi from Junior Troop 41127 who designed the adorable new BBCSU T-shirt for 2026-2027!
BBCSU is providing Free 2026 - 2027 BBCSU T-Shirts for Girls and Leaders who are registered by September 30, 2026!
Additional t-shirts are available for $10 each. Available shirt sizes YS (youth small) through YXL (youth extra large) and adult XS through adult XXL.
Troop leaders will be asked to collect sizes and submit via a Google form coming soon.
Call for Volunteers
BBCSU needs a new Cookie Cupboard Manager for Cookie Sales. Having a Cookie Cupboard allows Girl Scouts and their families to reorder cookies during cookie sales, and is an important part of our Service Unit's successful cookie sales! You will receive training this year during cookie season! If interested, please contact the BBCSU Board at bluebonnetcirclegs@gmail.com.
