Exploring Fall Fun: Bluebonnet Circle Service Unit
Welcome to the new Troop Leaders and new Troop Members in the Bluebonnet Circle Service Unit! We conducted new leader training and held our 2025-2026 New Troop Leader Investiture during our Service Unit Meeting on October 9. It was great to see so many new faces. We encourage everybody to come to a Service Unit meeting soon to learn more about the activities.

Deadlines for October
There are quite a few deadlines for October! Please see below for details.
Reserve your spot at the Bluebonnet Circle Service Unit's fall campout at Camp Champions by October 15! We're going to be Golden with our KPop Demon Hunters' theme! The registration link is provided below.
Submit your order for gluten-free cookies to sell during cookie season no later than October 15.
Reverse Trick or Treating. Please sign up by October 15 if your troop would like to participate. See below for registration information.
Deadline for Sales of Fall Products to be Delivered by Girls is October 15, with in person orders due no later than October 13. Online sales for mail deliveries will continue until November 3.
Updates from October Service Unit Meeting
In addition to the new troop leaders Investiture, we received several updates at the October Service Unit Meeting. Here is a quick summary if you were unable to attend:
Fall Product Sales are in full swing. As mentioned above, the deadline for sales of Fall Products to be delivered by girls ends on October 15, with in person orders due no later than October 13. Online sales for mail deliveries will continue until November 3. Also, if you are the Fall Product Coordinator for your troop, please make sure that you've taking the required Council training for your troop to be able to earn these fundraising dollars. If you have any questions, please contact Marcia at bluebonnetcirclefallproducts@gmail.com or the BBCSU leadership team at bluebonnetcirclegs@gmail.com.
Cookies!!! Although cookie sales don't start until January 2026, we are already getting ready for them.
To serve as a troop cookie coordinator you must be a registered volunteer! Training is required to participate in the cookie sale. Find and register for training here.
If you know of a business in the 78759, 78727 or 78731 zip codes that would let our Service Unit to set up a cookie booth at their entrance, please inform the BBCSU cookie team at bluebonnetcirclecookies@gmail.com.
The Megadrop for Cookies is scheduled for January 10, and "Draft Night" for booths will be at the January Service Unit Meeting on January 8 at Covenant United Methodist.

More information will be provided about the following campouts soon!
March 6-8, 2026: Roxy & Me (Volunteer & Daughter) This is an opportunity for troop volunteers to spend one-on-one time with their Girl Scout, minus their troop. Cabin, hut, platform tent or bring your own tent to Bluebonnet Shores. There will be minimal scheduled activities so you can maximize relaxing and bonding.
Spring 2026: Tent Campout, Juniors and above, camp at the group site or your own site nearby, everyone will pitch in on meals and mingle through activities.
May 2-3, 2026: First-timers Campout, stop by for the day or spend one night, this is a great introduction to camping for Daisies.

We want to feature Girl Scout fun, community service, regular meetings, Rally Days, investitures, outings, big trips, etc.! Email us at bluebonnetcirlegs@gmail.com what your troop is up to (bonus for pictures!) and we'll feature them in the next newsletter. Your experience could be another troop leader or Girl Scout's inspiration!
