Girl Scouts throughout the Bluebonnet Service Unit celebrated the holidays by giving back and rang in the new year preparing for Cookie Season!
Backpack Buddies
Backpack Buddies is a 26 year old Bluebonnet Circle Service Unit tradition where troops (or families) sponsor a child in foster care for the holidays. This year, BBSU troops and families sponsored gifts for over 50 specific children, plus gifts for children who entered foster care in December.
Cookie Rally
It's Cookie Season! Before sales began, Troop 41109 and other Service Unit Cookie Captains taught Daisy and Brownie scouts all about the lineup of Girl Scout cookies, how to interact with customers and tips for meeting sales goals.
