New This Year - Amnesty Day!
This year, we will be piloting an amnesty day - an opportunity for troops to give back excess inventory regardless of whether there is a need for it at the service unit. On January 25, the Sunday of the second weekend of the sale, troops can request to turn back up to 10% of their initial order. (If your initial order is 100 cases, you can turn back up to 10 cases). The amnesty turn back must be in full cases of the same flavor (ex. A case of trefoils must have 12 boxes of trefoils). There is no penalty for this turn back!! We wanted to make sure everyone was aware of this opportunity prior to placing their initial order. Note that the transfer process we have had in place for years will still be there. This is an additional opportunity and will be a guarantee.

Raising Awesome Girls
The GSUSA website has some new and very good resources that we recommend highly. In particular, this page https://www.girlscouts.org/en/raising-girls.html on Raising Awesome Girls blog posts across a range of themes (such as, happy girls, digital confidence, dealing with bullies, etc.). There is a badge associated with digital confidence, and most importantly, this information is really useful for parents as well as troop leaders.
Council Scholarship Info

Did you know that Girl Scouts of Central Texas offers scholarships for post-secondary endeavors? Learn more about these opportunities here so you're prepared when your Girl Scout is of age to apply. Have an Ambassador this year? The application window is open through Sunday, February 15, 2026
