7:30 PM: Troops and families arrive, educational activities open in observatory field
8:30-10:00PM: Observatory open for telescope viewing
9:15 PM: Star Story and Constellation Tour with sky wheels in the field
10:00 PM Event concludes
Join us at Reimers Observatory at Reimers Ranch Park, the closest Dark Sky Park to Austin for a night of observing through telescopes and astronomy education. This is an educational event where you can stargaze, learn how to find constellations, hear a star story, view Jupiter, our Moon and celestial objects through telescopes and learn about the solar system.
