About the event
What are SWAPS? "SWAPS" is a clever acronym for "Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere". These handmade tokens of friendship that Girl Scouts exchange with one another as keepsakes to remember an event or a fellow Girl Scout are often attached to a safety pin - one that the girls may attach to their sashes, vests or any other items (such as a hat or bag!). This will be a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring a blanket for the lawn and enjoy the smiles that the SWAPS will no doubt bring! Bring a snack or visit one of the nearby businesses for a treat if you like.
